Eurovision 2008 Final Result-Ranking

Sweden was nowhere to be found on the top 5 last night it was a big surprise for everyone Greece made it to the top three (so was I, because I didn’t put Greece as a top contender), Russia Dima Bilan ”Believe” the i.m.p.o.s.s.i.i.i.b.e.l (impossible- me and Rikka joked about because of the hard accent) tallied the highest votes with 272 points and grabbed the grand prize of Eurovision Song Contest 2008! CONGRATULATIONS!

The Russian team sent their famous Edvin Marton and Russian Olympic skater Yevgeny Plyushchenko! (That was a good “TEAM UP”! I am sure Nicki was so happy her figure skating buddy was there) The Krug and booze was flowing we really had great time though crazy party and so much fun and we cheered during the voting when Malta gave us a perfect score of 12 points that pulled us up to 18th place! Thank you Malta! Patriotically we cheered for our country and for Charlotte Perelli! Here’s the result of the final ranking:

Eurovision Song Contest 2008 top ten Final

The just concluded 2nd semi final of Eurovision Song Contest 2008 last night, Sweden got in to the Final on saturday. Håkan Engström in Sydsvenskan.se review was below the average of the final cut. Here’s the result of the Top ten that will go to the final with Håkan horses droppings. If you want to know why, try to get back the Tuesday May, 22 2008 Sydsvenskan issue from your bin.
    1. Iceland: “This is my life- Euroband” Håkan Engström dropped 1 horse! (Why was it only one horse Håkan?)
    2. Sweden: “Hero – Charlotte Perrelli” Håkan Engström dropped 3 horses for his own land! (Admit it, you were not really sure or you did ‘nt like Charlotte!)
    3. Turkey: “Deli- Mor ve Ötesi” Håkan dropped 2 horses! (Why only two?)
    4. Albania: “Zemren E Lame Peng – Olta Boka” H.E dropped two horses ( The two horses carried Olta to the Final and Håkan missed it)
    5. Latvia: “Wolves of the Sea – Pirates of the Sea” H.E dropped one horse! ( I am sure this is his worst nightmare)
    6. Croatia: “Romanca- Kraljevi Ulice and 75 Cents Romance” H.E dropped 3 horses ( again he is not so sure)
    7. Denmark: “All night long – Simon Mathew” H.E dropped 2 horses! (Whatttt? Why it is so two horses when Danish deserve to go to the final? Do you have something personal with Danish Håkan?)
    8. Georgia: “Peace will come – Diana Gurtskaya” H.E dropped 3 horses! ( Again Håkan in doubt)
    9. Portugal: “Senhora Do Mar- Vania Fernandes” H.E dropped 3 horses (Hmm admit it don’t deny it! You are in doubt again! Yes or No?!)
    10. Ukraine: “Shady Lady- Ani Lorak” H.E droppes 4 horses! (Finally H.E got it right!)
Where are your big favourites like Bulgaria (My big fav too!) and Switzerland? Make a soon be better don’t disappoint me because I am you big time idol. I hope Aris didn’t die last night after Bulgaria lost its spot to the final! I fainted and almost died!
    Look at These two!

WTF! Why these two never agreed with their outfits?! No wonder why Charlotte can never be seen at backstage photo shoot after, she might have gone back straight to her hotel, couldn’t stand to look at someone who has an outfit almost exactly like her and mind the back up singers as well they are in black! WTF! We will see who will change outfit on final night! Read the rest of this entry »

Eurovision Song 2008 Sweden top to win

Something gone right today when I hit on the news telling me that Sweden topped the Europe-wide BBC survey. I don’t even know the polling started and never had the chance to vote for Charlotte Perrelli song “Hero” (Check the polling page for your self and tip me the link) became one of the favourites on airwaves and if it’s true (Bless us all virgins “Praying”!) and if she gets the fat chance to the top then I should start walking down to the stadium for the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest Halå!!? It’s not a sin to hope anyway!

    2008 Eurovision Song Contest TOP

I don’t have much excuse to make. I am just so mentally tired and I couldn’t think of something special even all the news online became so irrelevant to talk about.

Just too much Blah could kill my thoughts. I just leave you this short entry about my favourite to win for the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade. I just said “my” so yours has nothing to do with this.

My friend Aris says that if Sweden wins this time (which I think we could) the next Eurovision Song Contest or in 2009 will be in my town right here in my TOWN! I was so ecstatic that I could almost pee. It means that I could even walk down to the stadium to watch the ESC 2009. “Sigh wishing”

I will only post one video which the rest I think I have posted them before so you can do the searching if you wish. So here there are: My top 6 in random order.

Bulgaria: Official Entry Deep Zone & Balthazar DJ, Take Me Away (The song keeps playing in my head ). Joanna is so pretty and she moves in front of the camera flawlessly. I could be a lesbian for her! The three back up DJs are quite good DJ Dian, DJ Rossko, Lyubomir Savov!

France: Sebastian Tellier on his Devine song ( My sentimental fav! I just don’t mind the Jesus part of the song. He will get votes from the Non-Jesusian!)

Denmark: Simon Mathew, All Night Long (The Sesame Street soundtrack alike might get to the top. He will get votes from the Sesame St. lovers)

Sweden: Charlotte Perrelli – Hero (She will get votes from the young ones and gay ones). I don’t like much on her video when they tried to tie her corset so hard leaving an inch for her torso that looks like something is sick going on her waist. But I paid much attention on the grafix used vectors! Nice work indeed, very chic!

Armenia: Sirusho, Qele Qele ( I love the beat! I guess a small betch like me could dance with it!)

Belgium: Ishtar, O Julissi Na Jalini (She gets sentimental vote and she will have the famous KANLEE streak!) Read the rest of this entry »
