In times of financial crisis it will become even harder for non-white model to become covergirls in the magazines of the fashion houses, Sydsvenskan reports this morning. A magazine taking fashion their own way was Italian Vogue – who dedicated their entire July issue for coloured models and interviews with solitary successful black women.

Pras michel ft sean paul spraga benz dance hall; U.S. singer Pras Michel was detained and questioned at a Paris airport because he forgot his passport as he was en route to Sweden, officials said.

The Fugees singer was scheduled to share a stage with Sweden’s DeDe Lopez at a Democrats Abroad event in Stockholm Tuesday.

However, Brian Owens, co-chair of the concert, said Michel forgot his passport in his hotel room Monday night and was detained because officials wanted to talk to him.

“He had lost his mobile phone so he couldn’t call anyone who could help him,” Lopez told Aftonbladet. “When he said he was a close friend of (Senator Barack) Obama they thought he was nuts and he was detained. Former Spice Girls singer Victoria Beckham says she wears socks and gloves to bed to ensure that her skin looks young.

The singer has been quoted as saying, “I put really thick foot lotion on with socks before I go to sleep.

I also use thick hand cream with gloves at the same time.

David Beckham must think I’m loony, because I get into bed with gloves and socks on.”

She also revealed other strange ways of taking care of her eyebrows.

“I spend more time on them than I used to. I always thought, ‘Oh, they’re just brows.’
