In early spring, The New York Times’s influential style biannual, T magazine, ran a feature extolling the Belgian designer Martin Margiela.
”Even after 20 years in the business, Martin Margiela is still the most elusive figure in fashion,” it read, ”which might explain why designers feel so free to thumb through his archives for inspiration”.
In an unprecedented move, this brief and unusually direct text was illustrated by five catwalk outfits courtesy of Marc Jacobs, AF Vandevorst, Junya Watanabe, Hermes and Prada, above which were printed images of the Margiela originals that had clearly, well, let’s just say ”inspired” their work. Italian fashion house tops men’s luxury poll. When it comes to men’s fashion labels, you can’t beat Italian and Ermenegildo Zegna comes tops, according to a survey of wealthy men.
The poll from the independent New York-based Luxury Institute found that high net-worth male consumers rated Italian fashion house Zegna as the most prestigious men’s luxury fashion brand.

Yves Saint Laurent, who died at his home in Paris on Sunday after a long illness, was a revolutionary. There is virtually nothing about the way we dress or the way we shop now that was not a result of his 44-year career.

Kira Plastinina is just 15 year Old. A Russian fashion designer became famous with her carefully designed clothes especially for teenage girls. Kira Plastinina is a daughter of a rich Russian businessman Sergei Palstinina co-founder of Wimm-Bill-Dann Russia’s largest dairy and juice producer. The brand “ Kira Plastinina” was founded by her father and one of her shops was opened last march while more stores are set to open in New York and LA.

Donatella Versace, I always adore her believe me! Doesn’t matter how she poke her face with botox needles. Fausto Sarli something to mesmerize with.., Jean Paul Gaultier, I have learned that diamonds smell, (minus the furs)! John Galliano always has luxe collections and dresses up like umm yeah, live it! (Congratulations for the André Leon Talley Lifetime Achievement Award!) No further explanation! If you want to know why I adore these Gods, which is for some exceptional reason.
