Led by the usual suspects Natalie Young and Alexis Eaton, Springville again used its seemingly bottomless depth to wear down Provo on Tuesday, scoring four unanswered goals in the second half to beat the Bulldogs 6-1 at Provo.
Young, the second-leading scorer in 4A with 15 goals this season, netted another hat trick while adding an assist to help Springville start off the second half of region play just as it did the entire first half–with another ‘W.’
Eaton, 4A’s third-leading scorer, added two of her own scores off a pair of well-placed headers. The first came off a long throw-in from Young that Eaton put away near the end of the first half. The second was even more impressive, as Eaton redirected a centering pass from sophomore Brooke Larsen from 15 yards out into the upper right corner of the goal (bottomless girls).
“We do it a lot in practice and I’ve been working on it, so it feels good to finally get it down,” said Eaton of the headers. Bottomless girls, Gwen ifill wheelchair
