Sonoma adventure

One of the craziest road trips ever in San Francisco. After driving through Sonoma, it was about 3 in the afternoon, so we decided to head over to Point Reyes. We figured we were making good time and would have no problem getting back in time for our flight at 10. The road home was insane. Not only was it winedy, but it was high. We’re talking massive cliffs right off the road, no shoulder, and locals riding your tail ’cause you’re following the speed limits.
The corners were insane. I pretty much had to close my eyes, do breathing exercises, wipe the cold sweat off my palms and yell at Tobbe to keep his hands at 10 and 2….’cause he was the one driving. All he remembers of the drive was that the asphalt was a nice colour. haha. It was beautiful, but not for the faint of heart. For example, there were no guard rails on these massive cliffs, not because they were unnecessary, but because there was no room on the shoulder for them.
That’s unreasonable. The only thing I’ve ever seen in my life that compares to it was the Furka and Susten passes in Switzerland. And finally we got back to the city, crossed the Golden Gate Bridge, and were right on time for the airport. Things to in San Francisco .
