Ti’s good news though I havn’t met her personally. Amy Winehouse was one of the ‘private’, off-piste stars of the Paris prêt-à-porter season.
Looking stunning in a short, black, pleated Fendi mini, with an orange corsage tied around her right wrist, the five times Grammy winner gave an exclusive performance to celebrate the opening of Fendi’s new Paris flagship store on Avenue Montaigne.
The party was hosted by LVMH’s Bernard Arnault, together with Fendi’s CEO Michael Burke and the designers, Silvia Venturini Fendi and Karl Lagerfeld.
The event drew one of the most celebrity-laden guest lists of the week.
Those who turned up to hear the Brit songbird included Jessica Alba, Sofia Coppola, Rihanna, Kanye West, the two Claudia’s – Cardinale and Schiffer – Jade Jagger, Mila Jovovich, the Olsen twins Mary Kate and Ashley, Lou Doillon and Marisa Berenson.
