Fashion and loads of style!

For a Christmas Day treat, the 10,000-plus participants at the Gitanjali Luxury Style Fest 2007 that concluded on Tuesday at Mahalaxmi Racecourse.
It could not have asked for anything as scintillating as fashion shows by JJ Valaya, Varun Bahl, Surily Goel and Ranna Gill.
But that is what Gitanjali Group chairman Mehul Choksi gave them in addition to the opportunity to get a closer look at luxury brands and ensembles by the designers in exhibition lounges and the fashion show area.
Only Santa Claus was missing!
The special invitees sat glued to their seats as models sashayed some cheery, hot ensembles by the designers.
Colourful and oozing with oomph, Varun’s girls got the chilly night warmer by a few centigrade.
While Perizaad Zorabian was the showstopper for Neeta Lulla, Sayali Bhagat walked the ramp for Ranna Gill, and Amrita Rao for Surily Goel, glittering in an evening gown.
Valaya who specially came from Delhi for the evening, was true to his eclectic style, and had models strutting intricate work on lehengas and cholis in bright yet subtle oranges, peaches and pinks on the ramp. /timesofindia.indiatimes.com
