London, Paris, and Milan might be the favoured destinations of the rich and famous when it comes to clothes but a group of students are hoping their talents will help put this fine city on the fashion map.
More than 100 students studying for a National Diploma in Textiles at Norwich City College will be showcasing their flair for fashion at the new EPIC studios in Magdalen Street later this month.
In total 120 students from the Ipswich Road-based college, which has teamed up with events listings magazine Outline, will be responsible for putting together the fashion and performing arts show at the former Anglia TV studios on December 11.
Led by Sue Maton, from City College’s National Diploma Textiles Course, and Adam Taylor from its School of Creative Arts, the show will provide the opportunity to see some of the styles created by students from fashion, dance and drama departments.
As well as showcasing the latest fashions, the students have designed the set for the show and the evening’s entertainment, which includes a dance routine, themselves./eveningnews24.co.uk
