The boulevard to fashion

LAHORE: The Boulevard – a mall housing prominent Pakistani fashion designers – opened on Saturday.
This is the first of its kind in the country and has been welcomed by all and sundry.
The mall is situated at 10-Q in Gulberg (near the Mini Market).
The opening was a grand affair with cameras flashing and TV crews with their equipment running around fashion stars.
Several prominent businessmen of the textile industry and fashion buyers were present at the event.
A joint press conference held by textile industrialist Owais Mazhar, Libas editorial director Sehyr Saigol, fashion designers Hassan Shehryar Yasin and Maria B, Karma design house chairman Saad Ali and The Boulevard marketing manager Turab.
The event then began with camera crews interviewing various designers and filming and taking pictures of their stalls.
There were hundreds of people inside the mall with many more sitting on the designer couches and sofas arranged outside the building. Drinks and hors d’oeuvres were served inside and outside the mall. /dailytimes.com.pk
