Young designers from England, Finland and Germany start their own independent fashion label – defying the rules of the fashion industry
“I have always had a passion for fashion and always wanted to design clothes that will bring you out and have that unique part of what we all have” – says James, 17-year-old fashion designer from Norwich, UK.
This credo has made him part of one of the hippest fashion labels around: the independent international fashion brand DOPAMIN. “I would love to see you wear my design!”, he smiles.
A handful of young, talented designers from all over Europe have joined forces to leave their mark in the international fashion scene. By founding the independent fashion label DOPAMIN they are opposing anything that makes the fashion industry go round: No middle-aged corporate types.
No market research. No trend scouts telling them what fashionistas want. Because nobody knows better than they do themselves. They are the boys from the hood, designing and making the clothes they’ve always wanted but couldn’t find.
A lime green shirt with a map of the world. Pink and white stripes on a unisex polo shirt. Smokey emo-style and loads of big feelings for guys who dare.
Designed by young guys in their teens and early twenties, marketed and sold on their own initiative over their stylish website that lures the users into a very special world – a world that is authentic and true and simply devastatingly beautiful.
The designers? Tim, Thomas, Rasmus, Laurids, Lari and James. The models? Check the same names again. /openpr.com
