Lames and Fashion

Weekeeei! I will be away for several days off to a city and cold. Blah! Hmm… Too much lamings and lames. I had to sell few unwanted things such as my soul. Lol! Someone will update this page while I’m away.

I am leaving you some angels to shun missing. Now I will be sending kisses to all. Sorry couldn’t post photos. I am having slug problem but praise me, fashion still intact. Some fashion updates-. “Tim Gunn doesn’t get the final word on Bravo TV’s “Project Runway” as he is the mentor - not the judge - to the aspiring fashion designers.

But don’t think he doesn’t have opinions.

Tim Gunn“I have to say that one of the things I love about fashion today is that there is something for everybody,” says Gunn,

whose day job is now the chief creative officer of Liz Claiborne Inc.

“Whether you’re a classicist, bohemian, minimalist - it’s out there.

And if you’re exuberant and over the top, it’s there for you, too.”

It’s hard to pin down “in” or “out” with so many choices, Gunn says. But here are some of his thoughts on current looks as the fourth season of “Project Runway” opens this month:

-The modern peacoat is a must-have item, especially in a vibrant colour or with a cinched waist.

He also likes the look of a patent leather trench.

“I’ve seen it in black, and it’s stunning. I’ve seen it in white - I’m not a great fan of white - but Valentino and Michael Kors both did red, and I love the return of that.” Gunn says.

-Gunn hopes the dress is here to stay.

It provides so many options to women, he says, but it also is the easiest solution for day-to-day dressing. Canadian PRESS
