Four-day fashion event is kicking off at NorthPark

Dallas is getting a taste of the fashionable high life this weekend: NorthPark Center was set to kick off its second Fashion at the Park event Thursday, beginning a four-day schedule of 19 fall, holiday and resort shows, including collections from Max Mara, Barneys New York, Nordstrom, Dillard’s and more.
The high-wattage event is taking place in an 18,000-square-foot Bryant Park-like tent, where guests are treated to decadent munchies, champagne and lavish runway shows – and it’s all open to the public.
Tickets start at $25 for reserved seating and can still be purchased at the NorthPark concierge desk on Level One near Neiman Marcus.
The F!D team is hosting a salon on Sunday afternoon featuring the MNG by Mango fall collection and a “Teens Rock” fashion show to showcase winners and finalists from the 2007 Fashion!Dallas/Kim Dawson Model Search. /dallasnews.com
