“So surely this (award) belongs to all the mothers of the world. Especially the mothers who stand with an open heart and wait, wait for their children to come home from danger from harm’s way and from war.” — Sally Field in accepting her Emmy for her role on “Brothers & Sisters.”
“To my manager, and my lawyer who have been with me from Day One for 13 years, here’s to the little engine that could and finally did.” — “My Name Is Earl” actress Jaime Pressley during her Emmy acceptance speech.
“In essence, this is a story about a gangster. And gangsters are out there taking their kids to college, and taking their kids to school, and putting food on their table. And, hell, let’s face it, if the world and this nation was run by gangsters — maybe it is.” — David Chase, creator of “The Sopranos,” accepting the Emmy for drama series.
“My own mother told me I didn’t have a shot in hell of winning tonight so I don’t really have anything prepared. But she’s a really big supporter
She does love me.” — “Grey’s Anatomy” actress and Emmy winner Katherine Heigl.
Making fun!
“You Americans are wonderfully generous people. You are a lot of other things as well. Some good, some bad.” — Helen Mirren, accepting her Emmy for “Prime Suspect: The Final Act.”

What I love the most about the Emmys are the clothes of the celebrities. So now, I’m waiting for the Best Dressed/Worst Dressed of the Emmys List.
I miss Jennifer Aniston & cast of Friends
