Self Catering Holidays

My friends are still on holiday. I couldn’t believe how they can spend their time outside country in fact they just arrived from Asia. My friends Robert and Karen travelled to Asia few months ago and spent two months in self catering or backpacking in the highlands Chiang Mai in Bangkok, to China. During their travel, they stayed at cheap rooms and not so expensive holiday apartments where they could only spend a day or two before hitting the way to their next stop.
We got all the updates and their whereabouts every time they get a chance for internet to send us their updates such short clips and photos. As we know that self catering holidays are much cheaper and it’s a way of saving the price of the holiday cost especially if you take a long holiday like a month or two.
Staying at the luxurious hotels is not a good idea in saving. It is wise if you only plan two nights or few days but even drinks in the hotel will tend to be more expensive than if purchased in the local supermarket but food can also add to the total cost.
