If you can still remember this print ad from Dolce and Gabbana last year that made hushing controversies by just looking at the woman getting gang raped.
“The fashion design duo behind Dolce & Gabbana announced today that they are pulling a controversial print advertisement from publications worldwide following protests in Spain, and, egads, their home turf of Italy. The photo features a blank looking young woman in a bathing suit and high heels being pinned down by a glossy shirtless man while four other men look on.”
Dolce and Gabbana rape scene was actually pulled following protests in Italy and Spain.

The ad, which shows a woman in a menacing situation on her back in a tight black dress and spiked heels as a bare-chested man holds her down by the wrist with four other men looking on, raised the ire of consumer groups in the U.S., Spain and Italy.
The bottom line is Dolce and Gabbana survive the fever and controversies after banning the print ad from Italy and now they have come up with the new print ads.

And this is my favorite.

It’s usually Dolce and Gabbana who are channeling creepy religious iconography for their steamy photo shoots, but this time it’s a Pakistani magazine editor who’s under fire from religious groups. Cleric Maulana Abdul Aziz announced a fatwa this week against the staff of the English-language journal Octane magazine, which ran a fashion ad in their June 2007 issue with the copy: “Adam and Eve: apple the bone of contention,” and featured models provocatively clad in Western clothing.
Claiming the reference to the prophet Adam was blasphemous and the sexual overtones of the images disturbing, Aziz added: “The managers of this magazine deserve to die.”
Keep it up and raise the gang rape track D&G!

I think the ads are way fabulous. People are sooo prude! It is art for goodness sake!
I know I know! But some people couldn’t take it down to their guts and we canät do anything!
