Back to back fight between Gaultier and Galliano with their militaristic men’s wear. Top fashion designers Jean Paul Gaultier and John Galliano were in combat mode as they brought military flare to the opening day of the Paris menswear shows for next summer.
Against the calming arches and windows of an old church on the outskirts of Paris, Galliano’s rough and ready soldiers of fortune donned beige military pants over camouflage-covered blousons.
Bearded and with blackened chalky eyes, the heavily pierced models wore kaffiyeh-style scarves on their head or face, berets and caps. The British designer offered baggy North African-style trousers, while straps criss-crossed black leather jackets and long parkas and coats were equipped with plenty of big pockets.

One jealous newscaster refused to read her script about Paris Hilton when she asked. I understand that how anyone could be fed up and refuse to newscast someone’s popularity. 
Mika Brzezinski tore her script to pieces on the air and then put another one through a shredder Friday morning when she was asked by her editors on MSNBC cable channel to lead the newscast with an item about Hilton.
“Listen, I just don’t believe in covering that story, especially not as the lead story in a newscast when you have a day like today,” Brzezinski said on the air.
Footage documenting her revolt is now making the rounds on the Internet, and has since been viewed on the video exchange website YouTube more than 870,000 times.
